Glasses that Translate Languages for You?!?

Check this out: NEC claims it has developed glasses that translate foreign languages for the wearer. The eyeglasses “hear” the foreign language, translate the language, and post the translation as a visual message to the wearer. Like our 007 glasses from our past post, these glasses will likewise send the “secret” translation directly to the retina.

This would be awesome glasses technology . . . if it actually works. (And if it is ever affordable enough for non-secret-agents like me to afford it.)
